Beta Cambridge School provides a carefully curated infrastructure for both indoor and outdoor games. We strongly believe that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body. Hence, there is a continued focus on age appropriate sports, physical exercises and health enhancing lifestyles. The students undergo a structured physical education curriculum that not only hones their skill in a sport but also attach equal importance to developing skills, learning to work in teams, building leadership and personal growth, critical thinking and problem solving. The students get an opportunity to participate and excel in various sports/ games like  Football, Volleyball, Hand ball, Basketball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Swimming ( Year 3 and above) and Gym ( Year 8 and above),etc…

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES (ECA)

Depending on their programme, the students will be able to choose five different activities in a week offered by the school. The purpose of the ECA are to enrich the student’s school experience and provide a truly holistic education where new skills are constantly being developed.

CATEGORY A ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT

Students who lack basic knowledge and need support in the following subjects will be enrolled for the academic enrichment.

CATEGORY C MENTAL ABILITY

  • Clubs- ICT / Math ( Sudoku) / English (scrabble)/ Science Club

Environmental Activities – Gardening, Farming and recycling

Sports and Activities at BCS have observable and reportable learning outcomes based on below stages.

  • Stage 1 Fun, Inclusion and Skill Development
  • Stage 2 Fun, Inclusion and Skill Development; introduction to pre competitive games
  • Stage 3 Skill Development; team discipline; competition
  • Stage 4 Skill Development; team discipline; competition performance

BCS Allows The Option of Switching to IGCSE for year 10/11 After MYP Year 3
